Fossil Making Fun

As part of our Science block we have been learning about Rocks. We made our own ammonites out of clay and examined a variety of fossils. We even learned all about Mary Anning and the discovery of the first ichthyosaur!

Meet our first Owl's of 2016!

Within the last 2 weeks our class have had 3 children gain their Owl badges!! Congratulations to Tia, Adam and Christie. Adam and Christie only started the reading adventure when it was launched to the year 3’s in October last year ! All 3 have had to read for a mammoth 2,160 minutes!! Well done!

Congratulations Ma'am

Today we have been celebrating the fact that Queen Elizabeth II is the country’s longest reigning monarch. At 17:30 today she will have reigned for: 23,226 days, 16 hours and approximately 30 minutes – 63 years and seven months Before today, the Queen Victoria, the Queen’s Great, Great Grandmother was the longest reigning monarch.
